Pasture Cattle Management
McMahan Cattle Co., Inc.
We offer a number of services in the pasturage of cattle, for the buyer and for the pasture owner. McMahan Cattle Co manages a four state region; Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Colorado. Its base of operation is in Marlin, Texas, where the majority of cattle are turned out for winter grazing on wheat, rye & coastal bermuda pastures. Cattle are also turned out on wheat pasture and native pastures in Southern Oklahoma and the Texas panhandle.
In the summer, McMahan Cattle Co. grazes cattle on native pasture in the Texas panhandle, New Mexico, and Colorado. Cattle are turned out on gain basis. McMahan Cattle Co can precondition your cattle or provide pasture for your existing cattle. McMahan Order Buying Co. has programs which will buy the cattle for you, pasture them and offer a buy back program.
1. We offer a pasture owner to care for cattle on a gain basis or for a monthly care fee.
2. We offer a buyer the option of purchasing the cattle from us and we take care of the management of the cattle for a duration that the buyer chooses.
3. We have the option of straightening or precondition calves for pasture.

Transportation
McTrans, Inc.
We have transportation services for all your cattle hauling needs. We have eight trailers located in Texas with full access to hundreds of trucks across the midwest. McTrans is fully covered with The Hartford Insurance, with 50 foot 102 wide trailers and have a 24 hour dispatcher. All trucks are equipped with satellite communication systems to maintain constant communication with the drivers. Faster and efficient trucking results in healthier, less stressed cattle.
